Data-Driven Results
What are Data-Driven Results?
istation Reading programs are centered on student results through Benchmark and Continuous Progress Monitoring assessments in ISIP™, istation’s Indicators of Progress. Computer-administered tests allow for immediate student progress reports to be delivered to teachers and administrators.
istation offers several reports to explain each student’s reading progress. This data further allows teachers and administrators to place each student into the correct curriculum to suit his/her needs and intervene when a student needs more help.
How does istation link data to instruction?
- istation reports give teachers and administrators specific information to make data-informed decisions in all aspects of a student’s reading instruction and assessment.
- ISIP™ data is used to automatically place students into the appropriate level of the istation Reading Program.
- istation reports automatically link to the appropriate additional Teacher Resources for further intervention.
- Reports show specific skills in which each student struggles, allowing the teacher to provide targeted instruction for individuals or small groups.
What do the results mean for teachers and administrators?
- Immediate feedback with complete graphic and contextual analysis of each student
- Shows student struggles and gives teacher guides to help with individual, small, or whole group instruction
