Istation has been awarded a statewide contract with the New Mexico Public Education Department. Under the terms of the agreement, Istation will provide its formative assessment — known as ISIP™ — to New Mexico district and charter-school students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. ISIP will be available in both English and Spanish.

What are Istation’s assessments? Istation’s Indicators of Progress (ISIP) Early Reading and ISIP Lectura Temprana are sophisticated, web-delivered computer-adaptive testing (CAT) systems that provide continuous progress monitoring (CPM) by frequently assessing and reporting student ability in critical domains of reading and Spanish early reading, respectively, throughout the academic year.

Assessment Calendar for 2019–2020:
  • Beginning of Year: August or September 2019
    (depending upon Local Education Agency)
    Teachers are encouraged to assess students within the same month for reporting purposes.
