Dear Florida educators,
On Friday, June 2, several line-items in the Florida budget were vetoed. Among the items cut from the budget was the funding allotment to the University of Central Florida (UCF) for the Istation Reading program (English and Spanish for grades pre-K through 5) for the 2017-2018 academic year.
This budget decision means that Istation will no longer be available free of charge through the UCF program.
Your representatives at Istation want to work with you to ensure that you continue to have uninterrupted access to the Istation program during this transition. Istation understands that this news came abruptly, and we will be offering price discounts and credits for districts and schools that want to continue using the program.
Who do I contact to discuss continued use of the Istation program?
Please contact your account representative at Istation to discuss continuation of the program. If you do not know the contact information for your account representative, reach out to Gretchen Territo at firstname.lastname@example.org or 803-269-6381 for more details. You can also reach Istation’s main line toll free at 866-883-7323.
How will this affect the use of Istation during our summer school program?
Your summer school plans with Istation can remain intact, as Istation will continue to offer its English and Spanish programs for grades pre-K through 5 until July 31 at no additional cost.
